China's MIDI Festival

Midi Music Festival is one of the most influential rock music festivals in China. Founded by Beijing Midi Music School in 2000, excellent rock bands from all over China gather in Beijing every May or October to participate in the annual Midi Music Festival. The Midi Music Festival held on the 40000 square meter open-air square of Beijing International Sculpture Park from October 1 to 4, 2004 set a record of 80000 people. In March 2005, the live DVD of the music festival was released, which was the first release of the music festival and the first set of live rock DVD in Chinese Mainland.
